My Approach

Picture
I want everyone to feel welcome, like when you've landed in the right place. This means we meet with mutual respect in a safe, nonjudgmental, and confidential environment.  When you pass through my office door what will be in the forefront of my mind is you: what you want to work on, what goals you want to reach, and what roadblocks you want to overcome. I will be a companion on your journey to greater wellbeing and success no matter how deep the waters are. As long as there is trust between us, we can work together.

I work within a wide variety of modalities and philosophies tailoring each client plan to the needs and personalities of each individual. I draw from “classical” psychological and coaching practices (psychoanalytic, cognitive, behavioral, and humanist), “modern” psychological and coaching practices (positive psychology, solution-oriented psychology, transpersonal psychology), as well as a variety of eastern approaches (Buddhist psychology, mindfulness and meditation).

As a therapist while I am informative, I listen deeply and trust you have most the answers, even when you're not yet aware of them.  I am process and solution oriented, meaning you will have your timing and pace but I will help you stay focused on what you want to achieve. We will work together, we will laugh together, and you will make some changes along the way.
