What Pilar does better than I could have ever imagined is allowed me to work through my issues layer by layer while always kindly and professionally keeping focused on the solutions
and personal development that have given me more positive and fulfilling relationships in all aspects of my life.
~ Past client.

A People-Based Practice

For the past 30 years, I’ve built a “referral based” practice. This means that people I’ve helped or colleagues I've worked with consistently recommend me to others. My practice does not rely on insurance panels but word-of-mouth and positive outcomes. I believe quality care is your right, and I will do my best to make sure you receive it.  I care deeply for every client and I am known for checking in with them to provide extra support during hard times.

My practice will always be a “people-based” practice.

My Values

I don’t just “talk the talk.” I personally  live what I share and teach in my sessions. I value and practice personal growth and professional integrity in my own life. I live mindfully of self and others in my everyday life, drawing from eastern and western philosophies and practices. My training in Martial Arts is an on going practice of discipline, endurance and balance. My commitment to being a  Choy Li Fut Kung Fu and Tai Chi student is not only for life-long physical health, but also mental and emotional wellness and inner peace. It challenges me daily which I consider to be essential to brain and body health for longevity.

The Best Care

Your mental health and wellbeing is my number one priority.  I bring compassion, wisdom and warmth as you identify and work toward your goals. From time-to-time we all have blind spots that  become stumbling blocks that eventually keep us from moving forward. In a collaborative process I will provide you with some tools, a plan, and support, and mind you,  a healthy dose of humor is often essential! I am client-centered, non-judgmental, and always geared toward positive growth. It’s important to me that you leave each session with a 'felt sense' of being heard and understood and a renewed sense of direction and motivation.
